About us
Our Story
Helping with God’s Help began with a simple yet profound moment. While driving for Uber, I met a homeless woman who was cold and only wanted a light for her cigarette. In that moment, I felt the Lord calling me to serve those in need. From that day on, I dedicated myself to helping the underserved and homeless in our community.
I started by gathering donated clothes and purchasing everyday items I had taken for granted throughout my 56 years. I took them to the only encampment I could find, but soon discovered more people who needed help. Along with my friend, Susan Barnes, we have now found and served four encampments since September. Our mission is to provide warm meals and nourishing supplies to help people through the long, cold days and nights—because everyone deserves kindness, hope, and care.
Together, with God’s guidance, we will continue to serve for as long as we can, sharing love and compassion in Jesus’ name.
